We see patients from 12 months old up to age 21. For infant exams, we review home care recommendations, brush teeth, place flavored fluoride, and complete a thorough exam. We generally see our patients on a 6-month basis. Around age 3, we start taking x-rays to check if cavities are starting in-between teeth. At age 8 we will take a growth and development X-ray to understand when baby teeth in the back of the mouth will be falling out and we can see if there are any extra teeth or missing teeth. We generally see our patients on a 6-month basis.
